We went over the details with our clients during the evaluation process to design the pipe parts entirely according to their needs. Oil-pressure pipe parts are common components of hydraulic drive systems, but with even the slightest miscalculation capable of damaging the machine, they must meet strict fit tolerance requirements. As a bonus, we anodize the surfaces of products to prevent oxidation and extend shelf life.
After settling on the design, we entered the prototyping phase where we utilized lathe to deal with the parts’ seamless tubes and CNC milling and lathe machines for the front and back parts. We then anodized the surfaces to extend shelf life but found that the anodization produced a layer of oxide that can cause variations in the internal and external diameters. At HUBTICLE, it is our job to prepare for the unexpected, so we had inspection jigs modeled in advance specifically after the original diameter requirements of our clients and nullified this complication.
